Customer Project Specialist

Job Description: This job will act as a liaison between the Plant-level Operations team and the remote Customer Service team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Customer Project Specialist will manage customer orders through their full life cycle (up to 6 months per project) and report status to respective Customer Service team member. These positions report to the Plant Manager and will be part of cross functional plant team (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Planning departments). The role will focus on delivering projects on time and providing proactive communication of delays in delivery timeline.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Receive orders at order entry, ensure documentation is complete (i.e. pricing, drawings, customer expectations, non-standard or unusual items) and are identified. Resolve any conflicts within the operations teams (Planning, Engineering and Production).
