This position is for a full-time experienced Data Collection Specialist who can demonstrate proficiency in data collection and analysis. Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in ophthalmology or medical research, is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to accurately collect and record data. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data collection software and spreadsheets, are essential. The Data Collection Specialist will collaborate with healthcare professionals and must have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a Full-time Data Collection Specialist to join our team. The Data Collection Specialist will be responsible for collecting and organizing data related to our patients and practice. The position requires excellent organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, be reliable, and have the ability to work independently. He or she must be able to prioritize tasks and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and record data related to patients' medical history, treatment outcomes, and practice operations
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected data
  • Organize and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, or other data collection software
  • Analyze collected data and prepare reports or summaries for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify data collection needs and priorities
  • Stay updated on data collection best practices and technology advancements
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient and practice data

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Data Collection Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical research setting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and recordkeeping
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and software
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
