(TCS) is actively seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative Development Associate to play a pivotal role in our organization's growth. Must have exemplary writing skills, the ability to adapt quickly to change, strong organizational abilities to ensure seamless execution of multiple projects simultaneously, adept at maintaining outcome metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement and tech savvy with the ability to leverage Microsoft suites to enhance development initiatives. The perfect fit for this role embodies ambition, creativity, and a dedication to achieving success. Familiarity with working in healthcare and nonprofit environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Identify, pursue and secure funding opportunities that support, build and help grow TCS’ current programs in addition to seeking new opportunities that are aligned with TCS’ mission, values, goals and objectives.

Ø Draft compelling and effective written materials, including proposals, grants, and event documentation, while maintaining meticulous outcome metrics for competitive research.

Ø Maintain an organized system for tracking deadlines, submissions and outcomes for events, proposals and other opportunities, including an engagement calendar.

Ø Generate reports on funding activities including successes, challenges and areas for improvement.

Ø Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ø Collaborate with programs/departments to gather relevant information for proposal development.

Ø Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team and other departments and stakeholders to align program/project needs and efficiently execute proposals, engagement events, and community outreach priorities.

Ø Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to proposals, grants, events and other activities as required by the Development department.

Ø Participate in community engagements, company events and other activities as required.

Ø Stay on top of best practices regarding industry trends, funding priorities and changes in regulations that may impact grant/funding eligibility.

Ø Display a forward-thinking mindset to identify and leverage funding prospects and partnership opportunities beneficial to TCS' objectives.

Requirements

Ø Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Ø A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in grant writing, or development is preferred.

Ø Excellent research skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and present information effectively backed by metrics.

Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project and grant management software/tools is advantageous.

Ø Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills.

Ø A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to supporting its growth through effective funding methods.
