Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining the company’s contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures that all contracts comply with company policies and applicable regulations. The Contract Administrator will work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless contract execution and management.

Overall Responsibilities

Contract Drafting and Review:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
  • Ensure that all contracts meet legal and regulatory standards, as well as company policies.
  • Identify potential risks and suggest amendments to mitigate exposure.

Contract Management:

  • Maintain a contract database and ensure timely renewals, terminations, and compliance tracking.
  • Monitor contract milestones, deliverables, and key dates (renewals, expirations, etc.).
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all executed agreements.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to identify and mitigate risks in contracts.
  • Ensure that contracts comply with relevant laws, including data privacy regulations, employment laws, and industry-specific standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for contract-related questions and concerns.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Work with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve contract-related issues.
  • Ensure smooth communication between parties during contract negotiation and execution.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
