The Shipping and Receiving Specialist I receives customer product(s) into our system, checks for any discrepancies with the shipment, and then after the product has been processed, ships it back to the appropriate shipping location. Also, the Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for answering customer questions related to where the product is in the process and when they can expect to receive it.

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Forklift) receives customer product(s) into our system, checks for any discrepancies with the shipment. Then after the product has been processed, ship it back to the appropriate shipping location. Also answer any customer questions related to where the product is in the process and when they can expect to receive it.

SHIPPING/RECEIVING PRE-PROCESSING

• Ship all irradiated product in an efficient and accurate manner, as described in required SOP’s.
• Place product in the appropriate “Staged for Shipment” area and contact carrier for pick up.
• Complete Repacks.
• Verify Cold Storage and Dry Ice requirements.
• Be familiar with shipping/courier service processes.
• Complete all remaining inspections and receiving paperwork.
