Diesel Mechanics

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ventura County, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our vehicles, while maximizing uptime and minimizing downtime.

• Changes and rotates tires, adds air and checks inflation of tires
• Changes oil and filters
• Performs general mechanical repairs to vehicles including trouble shooting mechanical problems and identifying their solution in an effort to correct malfunctions and reduce further breakdowns.
• Follows PM schedules on all equipment.
• Parks and delivers trucks
• Keeps records of gauge readings and amounts of supplies used

Self-starter with positive can do attitude

Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred

Valid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year

Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred

ASE and/or EVT certifications a plus

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00.
