Certified Nurse Midwife

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman care to women and their families. The CNM works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prenatal care, including risk assessment, education, and counseling
• Attend births and provide intrapartum care
• Provide postpartum care, including newborn care and breastfeeding support
• Provide well-woman care, including annual exams, contraception, and menopause management
• Educate patients and families about health and wellness
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in midwifery

Compensation: $120k - $140k / year

POSITION PURPOSE

Under general supervision of a Physician, the Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is an Advanced Practitioner responsible for managing and providing women’s health care services related to pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, family planning and gynecological needs. This position will deliver patient care in both clinic and hospital settings within an Ob/Gyn practice.
