Full Job Description
WWC Global is seeking an Executive Assistant to serve on a potential contract supporting the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E).
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing strategic support of the day-to-day management of the office by integrating support activities and addressing and recording incoming requests and communications.
- Managing and maintaining the complex calendars and schedules of OUSD(R&E) personnel, resolve conflicting priorities, orchestrate changes to the calendar.
- Answering the telephone, taking messages and/or referring calls to other individuals, as appropriate within the OUSD(R&E) organization.
- Serving as the interface with the public whenever there are inquiries concerning the office, including the greeting and escorting of high-level officials.
- Coordinating office administrative functions including office security administration, processing security clearance and visit requests for OUSD(R&E) personnel and visitors, scheduling office events and ordering supplies.
- Maintaining electronic/paper copies of all files as directed by the Government.
- Developing a travel preparation and coordination checklist that is reviewed and approved by the Principals, to ensure that key travel requirements are addressed and in accordance with Defense Travel System and OUSD(R&E) guidelines.
- Processing incoming mail, including e-mail and facsimile, to route correspondence to the appropriate individual.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:
- 0-10% / Minimal travel expected: offsites, meetings, training, a conference.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five (5) years of experience in administrative support within the federal government or similar.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.
- Working knowledge of the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Demonstrated experience working with a team of EA’s to provide maximum coverage for a group of executives.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Direct experience working within the OUSD R&E.
