The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Serve as a servant leader to the team, guiding and supporting members in their roles.
- Help remove impediments that hinder the team from achieving their sprint goals.
- Promote Agile best practices and encourage collaboration among team members.
- Ensure clear communication of project progress and roadblocks to stakeholders.
- Assist the product owner in maintaining the product backlog and prioritizing tasks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adaptations post-sprint.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile software development.
- Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile principles.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to removing obstacles.
