Full Job Description

We are open to candidates from the East Coast with the role being fully remote.

As a Sales Engineer you will play a pivotal role in bringing our AI Governance solution to market. Partnering with the sales team, you will be responsible for understanding our customers’ needs, designing solutions, accelerating the time to sign, and ultimately onboarding new customers. Leveraging your technical expertise (particularly around AI/ML) and sales engineering experience, you will be a key contributor in showcasing the value of our solutions to potential clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional pre-sales customer experience.
  • Provide technical expertise in the pre-sales process, particularly around AI/ML, outlining the value proposition, clarifying technical requirements, and answering product-related questions.
  • Demonstrate how Casper Labs can provide solutions to customers’ business needs and deliver value, including (but not limited to) product demos, use case scoping, and proof of concepts.
  • Design customized solutions that align with customers’ requirements, incorporating detailed architecture diagrams and documentation.
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility and practicality of solutions with product and engineering teams, helping to ensure successful customer onboarding & implementation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain expertise in AI/ML industry trends, blockchain, emerging technologies, and the broader competitive landscapes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer (or similar) role, managing relationships with large, global, and complex organizations, preferably working with a technical enterprise product.
  • Strong track record of delivering an exceptional pre-sales customer experience.
  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape including large language models, natural language processing, and generative AI. Knowledge of AI/ML software stack and software engineering experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging with executives and technical experts.
  • Strong ability of translating technical concepts into impactful, elegant enterprise solutions.

Additional qualifications but not essential:

  • Coding experience in Python, Rust, Java, or Spark.
  • Prior experience in project management.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate, ITIL 4 certification, etc.) are beneficial.
