Job Title: Sales Development Representative.

Department: Sales - Brand.    

Reports to: SVP, Sales.

Experience Required: At least 1-3 years of Sales experience and college degree.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000, plus Commission. OTE = $64,000 - $75,000

Supervisory/Training Responsibilities: This role does not supervise/manage others.  This role is an individual contributor.

Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM ET.

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for targeting relevant decision makers.  Your role will be developing strategies to acquire interest from these potential buyers.  You will execute outreach and engagement programs to produce qualified pipeline opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Your main goal is to boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual quota.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Find decision makers within prospect accounts using research tools.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Schedule and coordinate deep dive discovery calls on qualified accounts. between the Sales team and decision-makers at prospect accounts.
  • Effectively present our company to potential clients.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Articulate the value propositions of our products and services on phone calls and in emails.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Report account status to stakeholders/management at a regular cadence. 
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
  • Maintain strong overall outreach activity levels to facilitate success (calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages).
  • Create and nurture relationships across assigned accounts.
  • Record all activity in CRM.

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, cadence automation tools)and other tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
  • Understanding of and ability to analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field required.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role in a SAAS environment.
  • Demonstrated success of achieving quota as a Sales Development. Representative or similar role in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling software solutions with a preference for complex software solutions sales.
  • Working knowledge of developing and executing on outreach plans that result in engagement with decision makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Strong Knowledge of the eCommerce and CPG space is a big plus.
