Who We Are

Joffe Emergency Services is an all-in-one provider of expert emergency response training, event safety, and disaster preparedness supplies for individuals, schools, non-profits, small businesses, and corporations throughout the country. Our goal is to save lives and prevent emergencies through highly skilled response training that builds trust, demonstrates respect, and empowers learners to apply life-saving techniques to any individual in need, under any circumstances.

Who You Are

We are looking for a Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. Our ideal Recruiter will collaborate with Division Directors and Hiring Managers on a regular basis on current hiring needs and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and our employee referral program.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications and conduct recruiter screen interviews
  • Conduct compensation reports and analysis
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company’s reputation as passionate about the health and safety in our schools while being incredibly supportive and helpful.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different interviews for different roles
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, background checks, etc)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - Experience with Workable or a similar ATS is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
