Full Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager at The Willows Communications is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and policies to ensure that products and services meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. This key leadership role involves overseeing quality control teams, analyzing performance data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards and procedures to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Conducts regular audits and assessments of processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Leads and manages the quality assurance team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to foster skill development.
  • Analyzes quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implements actionable solutions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, share best practices, and enhance product/service offerings.
  • Implements quality improvement initiatives and monitors their effectiveness, ensuring that goals are met.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the communications sector.
  • Prepares and presents quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting findings, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to quality assurance best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s Degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, capable of developing and motivating high-performance teams.
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, able to make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive and strategic, focused on continuous improvement and implementation of best practices.
    • Proficiency in quality assurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
    • Certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ, CQI) are a plus.
