Full Job Description

Begreatsa, a leading company in the hospitality industry, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This position requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain payroll records for all employees -
  • Compute wages, deductions, and overtime payments -
  • Review and verify time sheets and attendance records -
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure that employee payroll data is accurate and up-to-date -
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks and direct deposit statements -
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments, such as bonuses, commissions, and overtime -
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies -
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements -
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and other related reports to government agencies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred -
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role in the hospitality industry -
  • Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office suite -
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills -
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy -
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity -
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills -
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations -
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure -
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
