Position Overview
The Partnerships Manager at Nexleaf Analytics will lead and execute critical fundraising initiatives to support the organization's mission of driving global health solutions through the digital transformation of low-resource health systems. This role will involve developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing the grants and donor relationships lifecycle, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with Nexleaf’s goals.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Communications, the Partnerships Manager will identify funding opportunities, engage with donors, and support communications that showcase programmatic successes. The role requires strong skills in partnership cultivation, CRM, strategic fundraising, and grant writing to help Nexleaf expand its impact.

Key Responsibilities
Partnership and Relationship Cultivation (60%)
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Track and analyze fundraising performance and trends to refine strategies.
- Write and edit requests for funding and reports—such as letters of inquiry, concept notes, requests for proposals (RFPs), pitch decks, donation requests, program updates, narrative reports, and grant applications—in close collaboration with External Affairs, Product, and Program staff
- Ensure organizational leadership involved in pitches are briefed and prepared for meetings, when applicable
- Collaborate closely with program teams to ensure alignment and effective donor communication.
- Research and identify prospects and design effective cultivation strategies based on knowledge of partner interests and alignment with organizational priorities
- Maintain accurate records of all proposals and grant opportunities, including deadlines, submissions, and outcomes (whether or not awarded)
Partnership Communications (25%)
- Conceive, initiate, and design compelling donor communications, including updates, newsletters, and impact stories
- In partnership with the Director of Communications, support and manage Nexleaf virtual and in-person events
- Manage social media strategy focusing on LinkedIn engagement to expand Nexleaf’s digital presence.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to funders.
Special Projects & Administration (15%)
- Maintain accurate records of pipelines, proposals, and donor interactions using Monday.com.
- Assist with strategic planning, donor database management, and event organization.
Core Competencies
- Strategic Fundraising Expertise: Proven ability to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies that secure resources from private foundations and global health donors.
- Relationship Building and Stewardship: Strong skills in cultivating long-term partnerships and trust with donors.
- Grant Writing and Proposal Management: Experience managing full-cycle grant proposals, from drafting to submission and reporting.
- Donor Communication: Expertise in creating compelling communication that engages and informs funders.
- Social Media and Digital Engagement: Proficiency in managing social media strategies to engage and grow the donor base.
- Conference and Event Management: Ability to identify opportunities for donor engagement through events and conferences.
- Analytical Thinking: Can evaluate fundraising performance and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Collaboration: Skilled in cross-functional teamwork to ensure fundraising and organizational goals alignment.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to lead multiple projects with attention to deadlines and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as International Affairs, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or Communications.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in international development, global health, or humanitarian sectors, focusing on fundraising.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated success in grant writing and fundraising strategy.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Monday.com), budget management, and donor reporting.
- A self-starter, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability for occasional travel (up to 10%).
