Summary of Position
We are seeking a Paid Media Manager to lead the paid media strategy, execution, management, and optimization across platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook, and various display and programmatic channels. The role involves collaboration with sales and marketing teams and leading a team of analysts.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing Paid Media strategies, managing SEM accounts, creating new accounts, optimizing daily, generating landing pages, updating content, budgeting, monitoring campaign progress, and staying updated on new strategies and techniques.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive leader with strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills. As a Paid Media Manager, you will set an example for the rest of the paid media team. You will be a thought leader, a direct manager, provide mentorship, and build foundational materials to train and educate relevant team members on paid media topics. You will drive RYNO's paid media division to growth and evolution.
Position Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with paid media best practices and planning and research tools
- Provide support to internal stakeholders as it relates to relevant paid media requests
- Manage members of the Paid Media team
- Maintain and establish expertise in all utilized ad-serving platforms and share that knowledge with the rest of the Paid Media team
- Collaborate with the Director of Paid Media to identify areas of inefficiency within the processes and strategy of the Paid Media team
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders
- Build and lead Paid Media team trainings
- Host paid media office hours
- Train new hires to ensure they can successfully fill their role and responsibilities
- Create support and knowledge documentation for paid media related topics
- Directly manage, develop and continually train your reports
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading paid media campaigns, preferably within a digital marketing agency setting
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team of individual contributors
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications required
- Ad management tool experience
- Ability to deep dive into reporting and measuring KPIs
- Expert-level knowledge of Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, and Instagram
- A thorough understanding of current SEM techniques with an interest in continuing education and improvement
- Experience with running paid programs for home service businesses
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Comfortable handling raw data and identifying trends
- Performance presentation development experience
- Highly collaborative while working with diverse teams
- A strong eye for detail and strive to consistently produce quality work
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
The total compensation for this opportunity includes a base salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, the potential for quarterly bonuses, plus benefits. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors including role, level, experience, and location. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range.
