Role & Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting all marketing activities for Avex’s internal initiatives and retention marketing efforts on client projects. Key internal responsibilities include coordinating advertising campaigns, scheduling posts, managing event logistics, tracking budgets, and writing blogs based on direction from a manager. For client projects, key responsibilities include writing content briefs and setting up and scheduling emails, also based on guidance from a manager.
- Company Digital Marketing Strategy & Implementation Support
- Assist in executing marketing strategies developed to promote the agency's services.
- Support market research and analysis efforts, focusing on identifying potential growth opportunities within the eCommerce industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams to help align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Assist in creating content, such as blog posts, case studies, and presentations, to showcase the agency's expertise and attract potential clients.
- Help manage the agency's digital presence by updating website content, coordinating social media posts, and supporting email marketing campaigns as directed by the manager.
- Company Marketing Performance Analysis & Reporting: Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Prepare data and generate reports to support data-driven decisions and optimizations under the guidance of the manager.
- Company Partnership Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining relationships with partner organizations, including eCommerce platforms, technology providers, and industry associations, as directed by the manager.
- Support efforts to identify new partnership opportunities and assist in the coordination of agreements for joint marketing initiatives and events.
- Company Event Strategy & Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing various events, such as webinars, workshops, conferences, and networking sessions, in collaboration with partners and internal teams.
- Help define event objectives, develop agendas, and coordinate logistics as assigned by the manager.
- Support budget tracking and ensure logistical details are managed effectively to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in promoting events across marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising, to drive attendance and engagement.
- Coordinate targeted follow-up communications with prospects and leads before, during, and after events to enhance engagement and lead nurturing.
- Support the evaluation of event performance by collecting and organizing attendee feedback, tracking key metrics, and assisting in the development of actionable insights to optimize future event strategies.
- Work with the manager to communicate event objectives, expectations, and requirements to partners and stakeholders and to manage event budgets, including expense tracking and financial reporting.
- Help address any logistical challenges during event planning and execution and support innovation by exploring new formats and engagement strategies.
- Client Email Marketing Management
- Set up, schedule, and deploy email campaigns as directed by the manager, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Create content briefs for email campaigns and prepare email templates, coordinating with design and content teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with campaign goals.
- Segment email lists and conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance and engagement.
- Ensure email compliance with industry standards and best practices, including managing opt-ins and unsubscribe lists.
- General Task & Time Management: They work with managers to coordinate the execution of tasks in alignment with overarching organizational goals and strategies. That includes:
- Task Prioritization: They need to prioritize tasks based on project deadlines, dependencies, and importance.
- Time Management: They are responsible for managing their time effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with task execution and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitating collaboration between different teams and departments involved in task execution to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.
- Communication: They must maintain clear and open communication with all team members.
- Quality Assurance: They are responsible for ensuring the quality of their work by conducting thorough reviews and evaluations
- Education: They will implement best practices & stay up to date with ecommerce and department related trends/tactics.
