Human Resources Assistant - Unpaid Opportunity/Internship at a start up

We are looking for experienced, skilled and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team!

The Human Resources Assistant is a key role within the foundation and works to assist the HR team with a multitude of tasks and initiatives while also helping to support the foundation at large. This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resource Officer. This Internship opportunity will be at-will basis and UNPAID.

Requirements

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assisting in the recruiting process by posting job opportunities, facilitating communication with candidates

• Keeping track of the progress of applicants in the onboarding process for each department.

• Providing assistance to employees with questions or concerns within the hiring process or their employment in general.

• Helping to conduct orientations as necessary.

• Distributing and collecting yearly employee evaluations.

• Assisting in other tasks as requested by the Chief

Human Resource Officer

• Foster a collaborative environment by effectively communicating and interacting with fellow team members.

• Frequently refers problems and work issues to the CHRO and/or team leads when guidance is not available or applicable.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize

• Ability to work effectively with others, possessing tact and discretion and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in all matters

• Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Frequently refers problems and work issues to the manager and/or team leads when guidance is not available or applicable.
