ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an HR Specialist. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to our employees and managers, assisting with various HR functions and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing new hire documentation.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with performance management processes, including coordinating performance reviews and maintaining performance documentation.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with employee training and development initiatives.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HR laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Five years of federal government HR information systems experience leading customer support and self- service tools implementations
- Two years of federal government project management experience leading remediation and process improvement/automation implementations
- Detail Oriented – Requires careful focus and accuracy
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills – Able to gather and analyze and interpret information
- Proactive – Able to influence others and contribute to team success
- Analytical Thinker – Can synthesize complex or diverse information
- Excellent Communicator – Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Proficiency (emphasis on Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Independent and Team Contributor - Able to work independently and function effectively as part of larger multi-dimensional team
- Strong Quality Management Skills – Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to quickly learn and operate Apps such as WebTA, AgLearn that are in use in DISC
