Job Summary: 

The Human Resources Generalist is a critical role supporting HR/ People Programs and ensuring the tactical delivery of HR strategy and overall aligned business objectives. This role impacts the overall employee experience down to the daily interactions and support of all HR related inquiries and functional needs. The HR Generalist requires a proactive individual who can work closely with employees to drive HR program performance, improve employee experience, and contribute to the overall success of REE Medical. 

 

What is expected in this role: 

  • Support REE employees in various Lifecycle and HR related needs and programs such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits, separations, etc. 
  • Collaborate with HRBP in the administrative delivery of HR programs and initiatives. 
  • Act at 1st level support for Employee Relations items in tandem with HRBP for items like conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and harassment claims.  
  • Acts as the HR stakeholder in compliance owned investigations and serves as the Employee point of contact during such situations.  
  • Serves as an HR stakeholder on cross functional committees ensuring HR can foster different HR programs through teams not located in the HR.  
  • Owns Employee Onboarding Experience – facilitates onboarding meetings, creates schedules in tandem with HRBP and Direct Supervisors, ensures accountability for all departments involved in the overall process, and works with HR Admin to ensure communication and tactical execution of experience. 
  • Acts as Project Coordinator for Recruiting Function – provides guidance on job creation, approvals, posting, and gathering of resumes. May include conducting interviews depending on need. Ensures a full candidate experience.  
  • Acts as compliance support for HR policies and procedures. Ensures REE balances the needs of the Employee with the Company need for compliance and maintains policies and procedures to stay up to date.  
  • Track HR KPIs and Metrics related to hiring, onboarding, turnover, and completion of training, etc.   
  • Support the delivery of employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, feedback, and recognition programs and collaborate with HR leadership and HRBPs for delivery.  

 

How success is measured in this role: 

  • Employee Engagement Scores: Measuring engagement overall. Target 70%+ 
  • Employee Satisfaction Scores: Measuring the satisfaction employees have towards HR support. Target 70%+ Rating. 
  • Recruiting Metrics: Measuring Time to Fill, Candidate Quality, etc. to capture overall Recruiting Strategy Delivery. Scored should be in line with overall HR team targets.  
  • Turnover Rate: Measuring voluntary turnover companywide. Target < 14% 
  • Performance Management Metrics: Ensuring 80% + completion rate of all performance management programs across the organization.  
  • Training and Development Metrics: Ensuring 80% + completion rate of all Training and Development opportunities across the organization.   
  • Employee Relations Metrics: Ensuring number of grievances, resolution times, and satisfaction scores are in line with overall HR team targets.  

Requirements

What you need in this role to be successful: 

 

  • Strong Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS, ATS, or other People Functional Tools and automation systems. 
  • Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management. 
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, covering most / all areas of the HR function. 
  • 2+ years of Recruiting experience or project coordination experience. Proven experience in a recruiting role, where you own candidate experience, interviewing, ATS management, etc. is a big plus!  
  • Exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Experience in start-up or early-stage environments with little or no defined infrastructure or processes. 
  • Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment. 
  • Ability and empathy to relate to all levels of the organization. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving orientation. 
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.  
  • HR Certification is a plus but not required.
