About the role:

Centurica is seeking a skilled and experienced HR Compliance Analyst to join our team. The HR Compliance Analyst will be responsible for conducting HR due diligence for various projects, with a focus on I-9 verifications and employee classification audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR compliance and analysis, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations effectively.

This is an Hourly Remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough I-9 verifications to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Perform employee classification audits to assess the proper classification of workers as employees or independent contractors.
  • Analyze data and documentation to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and facilitate the due diligence process.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, with a focus on PEO operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to worker classification.
  • Experience conducting audits and assessments, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software.
