Full Job Description
At RVB Associates, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a leading company in the industry, we are committed to providing excellent technical support to our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting end-users with technical issues and providing timely solutions. From troubleshooting software and hardware problems to assisting with network connectivity, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Assist with network connectivity and configuration
- Install and configure computer systems and peripheral devices
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and follow-up with users
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and network protocols
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are a plus
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus
