Full Job Description

RVB Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our team. As a reputable company in the industry, we prioritize providing excellent technical support to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting end-users with technical issues and providing timely solutions. From troubleshooting software and hardware problems to assisting with network connectivity and security, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues
  • Assist with network connectivity, security, and configuration
  • Install and configure computer systems and peripheral devices
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and follow-up with users
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls and antivirus software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and network protocols
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are a plus
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus
