We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Head of National Sales to lead and shape the direction of our sales efforts in our Bath Remodel Division. This pivotal executive-level role will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, optimizing sales performance, fostering a high-performing team culture, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. This role will collaborate closely with senior leadership teams across Sales, Marketing, HR/Staffing, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and maximum market impact.

 As the Head of National Sales, you will be a key decision maker, responsible for setting sales objectives that align with Marketing, creating robust strategies, and leading your teams to achieve aggressive revenue targets. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success and growth of the organization, developing talent, cultivating relationships, and driving significant revenue growth across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales program enhancements to drive sales growth and increase market share, while ensuring alignment with company goals and KPIs.
  • Sales Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Regional Sales Managers, Outside Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives.  Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on continuous performance improvement with future growth.
  • Performance Management & Optimization: Establish sales targets, track performance, and implement corrective actions to optimize results. Conduct performance evaluations, utilizing data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve future initiatives.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to create sales strategies, enhancing customer engagement and optimizing lead generation efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with key teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR/Staffing to ensure that sales and marketing efforts are aligned with overarching business objectives and corporate goals.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets for sales ensuring efficient resource allocation and delivering measurable ROI. Monitor ongoing campaigns and sales programs for success.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive sales through high-level management of team performance. Develop and execute sales strategies specifically tailored to the "One Call Close" environment, optimizing conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Vendor & Partner Relationships: Manage relationships with vendors and third-party partners, ensuring effective collaboration and contract performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in Sales, with at least 8 years in senior management or executive leadership roles. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Leadership: Expertise in leading, managing, and developing large, cross-functional teams. Ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Strong ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies, leveraging market and customer insights to inform decision-making and optimize sales and marketing performance.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven expertise in developing sales strategies for direct-to-consumer, home improvement, or One-Call Close sales environments. Experience in the bath industry is highly preferred.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Adaptability & Results-Driven: Forward thinker that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly competitive environment, with a proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve KPIs.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 70% to support regional sales teams, visit key customer sites, and attend trade shows or industry events.

Compensation is based on experience; $170,000+ and bonus potential
