Start Pay ~ $61,000 annually, with the final salary determined by geographic market rate for the selected candidate.

This role will work from home and can be located in any state in the United States where Rise Against Hunger currently operates.

About the Role

The Donor Engagement Operations Manager is accountable for analyzing and maintaining donor data and identifying new ways to leverage donor information to facilitate increased fundraising. The role will support contributed revenue projects through re-engagement strategies, third-party giving, and matching gifts. 

This position is established to be a liaison between the fundraising and organization-wide operations to optimize donor data utilization by providing transparent communications and  alignment on organizational needs. This role represents the epicenter for donor information and will manage various projects having to do with the creation and implementation of efficient processes and procedures to achieve the Donor Engagement department goals and broader organizational objectives.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree in technology, business, international development or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five year's related database experience in a fundraising environment accountable for data and donor management in a large CRM system like Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Hubspot, external giving platforms and Google Apps
  • Strong knowledge of the overall fundraising process as it relates to the database.
  • Experience with database resource planning
  • Ability to thrive working from home in a hybrid work environment.

What You Will Own

40% Donor Data Management & Analytics

  • Build and maintain donor communication workflows in CRM systems.
  • Point of contact internally for day-to-day operational donor data needs.
  • Provide data insight and recommendation on donor data and gift trends to channel segment leaders to deepen engagement with donors and partners.
  • Serve as key stakeholder in identifying and prioritizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system needs and improvements.
  • Maintain a clean donor file by ensuring data inputs are following established processes to avoid duplication, false or outdated data.

30% Donor Data Reporting

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop internal data tracking, monitoring, and report creation systems or processes.
  • Assemble donor requested reports for campaigns and specific engagements.
  • Generate customizable reports to determine the success of campaigns
  • Analyze campaign results and report metrics of success and opportunities to improve, translating data into learning insights
  • Establish an efficient process for reporting impact to key donors by collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Utilize fundraising proposal templates to ensure brand consistency of proposals and develop training for account managers to use.
  • Supports the review and edit of externally facing proposals.

20% Funding Support

  • Manage all third-party giving sites for updated content, compliance and donor engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain state and federal campaign recertifications, content and engagement strategies for federal and state employees.
  • Generate donor impact reports to support stewardship of identified accounts from our Donor Engagement team.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology and Finance teams for accurate donor reporting.

10% Communication and Resource Planning

  • Manage communications for Donor Engagement operations to the greater team through various channels.
  • Support or lead team donor development initiatives, on-boarding new development staff and data stakeholders, and building interpersonal relationships cross-functionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in successful project management 
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Computer savvy to be able to easily pick up additional software programs
  • Understanding of fund development and able to support marketing/sales concepts
