Overview
You will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and driving informed decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in equity management, financial modeling, contract negotiation, and market analysis will contribute to the company's financial success and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day business and financial operations such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, expense management, cash flow management, etc
- Engage in contract review processes, ensuring favorable terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirement
- Conduct financial analyses and utilize various valuation methods to assess the company's worth and inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and refine pricing strategies based on market dynamics, cost structures, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation
- Create sophisticated financial models to simulate scenarios and forecast the financial impact of pricing changes on revenue, profitability, and market share
- Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate effective financing strategies, optimizing the company's capital structure and funding sources
- Recommend strategic initiatives based on market analysis, ensuring the company remains competitive and adaptable to changing market conditions
- Conduct detailed cost analysis across departments, identifying areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements
What to Expect
- In the first 30 days — gain a deep understanding of the product, business model, and existing financial infrastructure
- In the first 60 days — begin owning key components of day-to-day financial and strategy operations
- In the first 90 days — collaborate across teams to drive financial process efficiency; refine existing financial modeling and pricing strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
- At least 3 – 5 years of experience working in a Finance-related field
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare landscape, including Medicare systems, healthcare purchasing strategies and budget cycles
- Exceptionally strong financial and modeling abilities, with a track record of identifying insights from financial information and translating into business analytics and recommendations
- Experience in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing best practices to enhance financial and business operations
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excited about working at an early stage company and comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently, handle multiple tasks with deadlines and pressure
- A desire for personal and professional growth
- Preferred startup experience
- Bonus points: Digital health and/or SaaS experience
