Aretum, a leading government contracting company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Experience Management Consultant. As an Experience Management Consultant at Aretum, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our government clients to improve the experience of their customers and stakeholders through effective strategy and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead participatory design activities (e.g., workshops, card sorting) to understand user needs.
- Derive actionable insights by leading user research activities and translating insights into prototypes and then building executable processes based on prototype results.
- Conduct, design, and analyze user experience research and usability testing results, incorporating findings into the end product.
- Contribute to human-centered design solutions by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Demonstrate facilitation, brainstorming, and collaboration skills.
- Able to demonstrate a strong comfort level working across multiple management levels including being willing to jump in and do basic tasks like note-taking to acting in a facilitator role to gain feedback and consensus
- Able to act as point person in developing tools to gain feedback on customer/user experience such as surveys, questionnaires, developing metrics that provide analysis of customer/user experience
- Strong writing and presentation skills related to report writing and presentation development (i.e. MS Word/PowerPoint/Visio)/basic skill set presenting information using templates, graphics, tables, and process flows
- Able to build out documents in a publishable format using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
Requirements
- BS/BA in an applicable area such as human centric design, UX design, service design, instructional design or related discipline
- Basic proficiency in design software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) to create visual representations and training materials
- Strong comfort level with MS tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams – especially with tools like SharePoint and Teams has the ability to utilize these tools in a manner to facilitate executive management activities
- 7-10 years’ experience with preferably 2-3 years in management consulting/analysis.
- Strong coordination skills – able to support protocols between high level government managers and to support them in preparing for ongoing interaction with internal staff and other external agencies
Preferred Skills:
- DHS Suitability
- Background working in cyber related subject matter
- Demonstrated familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile Scrum methodologies
- One or more certifications in UI, UX, or CX
- Nielsen Norman certification(s)
