Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chief of Staff to partner closely with our CEO to manage and scale our rapidly growing companies. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision, optimizing operations, and ensuring that every aspect of our business is aligned with our growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of taking companies through key growth stages, particularly from 1 to 10 and 10 to 100.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment and Execution

  • Strategic Executive Partner: Work alongside the CEO to translate the company’s vision into actionable strategies, prioritizing initiatives that drive the highest impact.
  • Outcome-Driven Execution: Lead and execute key strategic projects, ensuring that outcomes align with company objectives and deliver measurable results.
  • Scaling Operations: Drive the execution of strategies that scale the company from its current growth stage to the next level, focusing on optimizing processes, expanding market reach, and supporting the company’s journey from 1 to 10 and 10 to 100.

Operational Efficiency

  • Systems and Processes: Design, implement, and optimize systems and processes that enable scalability and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Metrics and Accountability: Establish and track KPIs across teams, holding the organization accountable to achieving strategic goals and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize automation and technology to streamline operations, reduce manual work, and enhance productivity.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Empowerment: Lead by example, empowering team members through clear delegation, coaching, and mentorship. Foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Talent Management: Work closely with the CEO and CPO to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring the team is equipped to meet current and future business challenges.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Work closely with the CEO and CPO to champion the company’s culture and values, ensuring they are deeply embedded across all teams and initiatives.

Communication and Alignment

  • Clear Communication: Facilitate clear and concise communication across the organization, ensuring alignment with the CEO’s vision and company objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between departments, ensuring that strategies and initiatives are coordinated and executed effectively across teams.
  • Feedback and Agility: Establish robust feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement and agile responses to changing business needs.

Time Management and CEO Support

  • Maximize CEO's Time: Handle operational details to free up the CEO to focus on strategic growth. Manage the CEO’s calendar, ensuring time is aligned with top priorities.
  • Decision Support: Provide the CEO with data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, leveraging AI and analytics.
  • Proactive Initiative: Take ownership of key initiatives, driving them forward independently while keeping the CEO informed and engaged as needed.

Proactivity and Initiative

  • Ownership: Take full ownership of responsibilities, driving initiatives forward with minimal oversight and ensuring that goals are met on time and within scope.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commit to personal and professional development, staying ahead of industry trends and continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in high-growth tech companies, preferably in SaaS or AI-driven environments.
  • Growth Stage Experience: Demonstrated experience in scaling companies through key growth phases, particularly from 1 to 10 and 10 to 100. A proven track record in navigating the complexities of rapid expansion, including scaling teams, entering new markets, and optimizing operational processes.
  • Leadership in High-Growth Environments: Extensive experience in leading and managing teams during periods of significant growth, ensuring that company culture and values are maintained while achieving strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Scaling Skills: Strong background in developing and implementing strategies that support the scaling of businesses, with a focus on creating robust, scalable systems and processes that can support a rapidly growing organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record in Hyper-Growth: Experience leading a company through hyper-growth stages, taking it from a small or medium-sized operation to a large, mature organization.
