Full Job Description
Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is seeking an enthusiastic Call Center Specialist to be an integral part of our community outreach efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, providing information about our services, and ensuring that our clients receive the support they need in a friendly and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for serving the community. You will be key in building relationships with our constituents and supporting our mission through effective communication and service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, addressing inquiries related to Walnut Way's programs and services.
- Provide accurate information and support to callers, guiding them through the available resources.
- Record and document all interactions accurately in the CRM system for future reference.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying solutions and following up as needed.
- Conduct outreach calls to community members, promoting services and encouraging participation in programs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize procedures and improve service delivery.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance call handling skills and service knowledge.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize with callers.
- Proficient in using computers and familiarity with CRM software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both individually and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of nonprofit services and community outreach efforts is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or additional education is advantageous.
