Description

Luxium Solutions is looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you will take charge of the commercial aspects of our strategic sales accounts in the Oil and Gas industry. You will work closely with our Global Marketing and Technical departments to ensure that our new programs are delivered with the utmost quality and meet our customers' expectations.

We are seeking an ideal candidate who can effortlessly handle a diverse portfolio of existing accounts, while also pursuing new opportunities and high-value prospects. If you possess strong relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving business growth, we would love to hear from you!

Essential Functions

  • Develop, nourish, and expand sound working relationships throughout the business organization.
  • Determine needs of current & new products and relay information to contacts points in plants. (Forecasting, production requirements, quotations etc.)
  • Manage personally or coordinate delivery of responses to the above requests with customers.
  • Actively research, identify, foster, and develop new sales opportunities/accounts in assigned markets/regions.
  • Support Marketing in the quotation development process, negotiate prices and terms to close opportunities at acceptable margins.
  • Resolve issues related to product quality, payment, or credit terms. Act as the point contact to resolve escalated problems.
  • Lead contracting/pricing negotiations with support from Marketing and Management.
  • Act as a facilitator for customer visits with appropriate sales/marketing managers including application and technology.
  • Proactively react to changes in client’s situation and keep updated on client’s changes such as recent news or volume vs. budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably a Master of Business Administration.
  • Eight years’ experience in a technical industry with a combination of sales/product/marketing/management.
  • Possess high level computer skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferred
  • The ideal candidate can live in the Southern Part of the United States- Texas-Mississippi- Louisiana
  • Position based in Hiram, Ohio and will be required to frequently travel to the plant.
