Tapcheck, an award-winning fintech company, is seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for working with Tapcheck’s customers, supporting and reconciling payment transactions. You'll need a strong sense of detail and organization to perform successfully in this role.
What You'll Do:
- Support client escalations by addressing and resolving escalated client support inquiries and issues.
- Manage financial transactions regarding refunds, returns, and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed and assist with the collection process for strategic clients
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate process management
- Participate in strategic planning for operations improvement projects
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for process flows and reconciliation
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining system health and connectivity
- Ensure company compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 1+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields
- Proficient in Excel and other technologies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in the Plano, TX office 3 days/week
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with payment processors and third-party transaction partners
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time. It is at the Company's discretion to determine what pay is provided to a candidate within the range associated with the role.
