Same Day Water Heaters, LLC is an established and growing plumbing company located in Houston, Texas looking for a Recruiter Coordinator to join our team and fill open positions that will support our growth.
The Recruiter Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting through various methods, such as job postings, career fairs, and social media. The selected candidate needs to be efficient and comfortable with being responsible for the flow of applicants for multiple job postings while working closely with the hiring manager(s). The selected candidate must be able to work independently in order to achieve results with high degree of accuracy while also being a solid team player supporting every hiring need of our business.
This position reports directly to the Sir. Director of Administration and interacts with all layers of our organization. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, organized, an excellent communicator, and a problem solver. This role is 60% recruitment and 40% Human Resources Administration.
Recruitment of sub-contractor plumbers and employees in multiple companies and states
Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising managers in multiple companies and locations
Establish recruiting requirements and meets with managers to discuss needs and creating job postings
Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet/social media sites; providing organization information and opportunities
Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
Familiarity with relevant employment law and recommending new procedures as needed to be within the law
Reporting of all recruitment elements; manage applicant tracking and manager follow up
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing/screening applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references and licenses required while comparing to job requirements
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing with a consistent set of qualifications
Help with but not limited to some HR administrative duties, benefit enrollment, analytics with benefits and costs
Requirements
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, attending job fairs etc.
Personal ongoing development in Human Resources
Positive attitude and teachable demeanor
Strong attention to detail with excellent organization and communication skills required
Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude in any situation
Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality (8am-5pm with schedule flexibility)
Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Word skills
Successfully complete background check
