Full Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, tech-savvy Business Development Representative to help us expand our clientele. You will serve as a vital face of the company and will have the dedication to creating and applying an effective sales strategy. You will work in close collaboration with the CEO, leveraging in-house contacts. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. This role is 100% in-person.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the CEO to generate sales from his contacts, especially LinkedIn
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Performing in-depth research to uncover new market opportunities and understand customer requirements
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
- Must feel comfortable working with and communicating to C Level individuals
- Must feel comfortable taking open-ended prompts and running with them
- Proven working experience as a business development representative, sales executive, or a relevant role
- Tech savvy / tech sales experience
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
This is a performance based position with high commission opportunities.
This will be a contract position for at least the first 90 days.
