Full Job Description
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for assisting and improving the operations of the Sales Support department. The Sales Support department assists in fielding and answering sales-related inbound email and phone call inquiries from (Direct/Indirect) Sales Partners with the goal of increasing partner education, satisfaction and driving company revenue. This position promotes and provides excellent customer service to maintain strong professional relationships with Sales Partners while utilizing strong teamwork with their department peers, to ensure customer service is timely, efficient and of high quality.
Responsibilities
● Monitor and route incoming emails and phone requests into department tickets, liaison between departments to coordinate completion of requests.
● Answering general sales questions including but not limited to: supported equipment, additional services & account maintenance inquiries
● Review and update tickets as Sales Partner’s needs dictate regarding account changes and updates, refunds, cancellations, escalations, research, and reporting.
● Continued education on policies and procedures, Simpay supported products and services
● Use of standard Simpay CRM systems including but limited to Gravity, Hubspot, SalesView, Agreement Express
● Participate in and manage EOS responsibilities including meetings, rocks, to-dos, scorecard, cascading messages, 1:1s, and quarterly conversations
● Additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
● 1-3 years of customer service experience
● Willingness to learn and adapt – coachable
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , critical thinking
● Proficient in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook and telephone protocol
Preferred Skills & Competencies
● Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
● Ability to make accurate, independent decisions based on data provided
● Ability to work in team driven environment, yet able to work independently
● Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
● Able to properly service our sales partners while maintaining a focus on reducing company exposure/loss and driving revenue
