Job Summary
This is a sales support role designed to enable the sales team to sell more efficiently and effectively by lightening the administrative load for Business Consultants, providing their prospects with live demo support and proactively filling in the gaps in the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Present live demonstrations of Nextep’s technology to prospective clients.
- Review RFP documentation for missing information.
- Work with Business Consultants to obtain missing information.
- Enter RFPs in Salesforce for Business Consultants.
- Submit RFPs to Nextep’s internal underwriting team.
- Work closely with underwriting to understand conditional requirements.
- Work with Business Consultants to obtain additional information to fulfill conditional requirements.
- Prepare proposal documents for Business Consultants.
- Vet and filter all inbound leads/prospects for SDRs.
- Manage and resolve Account Add requests submitted by BCs.
- Proactively look for demo and benefit strategy call opportunities.
- Assist with process documentation and updates.
- Update Salesforce field data using tools provided by Nextep.
Requirements
Education and ExperienceEducation:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from a four-year college or university preferred.
Experience:
- Two or more years sales support related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Working knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and/or Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of primary programs used by Nextep in business operations. This includes but is not limited to the following: Google apps; time and attendance platform; Nextep’s electronic on-boarding system; PrismHR; Salesforce.com; Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications; Google applications; email management systems, CRM systems and Internet applications.
