Xpress Wellness is a leading healthcare care provider that is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a proactive and dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level support to our healthcare staff and ensuring that all technology-related issues are resolved in a timely manner. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our IT systems and supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software applications.
  • Document support requests in the IT service management system and track the resolution process.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment and software.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of user guides and knowledge base articles.
  • Provide training to staff on new software and technology tools as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve technology issues.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives aimed at improving the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, CompTIA plus or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Must have 1+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 products.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and applications is a plus.
