Our Expectations Of This Role:

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to take a lead in generating and expanding business with construction leaders in development, real estate etc. while managing a Business Development team of 3 including a Business Development Specialist and Business Development Assistant.

Strong relationships are at the core of this role, and the successful role holder will not only be confidently interacting with key stakeholders and executives at some of the largest retailers throughout the country, but also mentoring Singleton’s internal operations team to increase sales with existing customers.

You will be responsible for keeping ahead of industry trends, identifying new markets, and with the goal of driving new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. In addition to executing the sales vision for Singleton, you will have a strong detail orientation to develop and maintain sales systems & activities.

Requirements

5+ years of Sales or Business Development experience is required.

  • This is a non-commission role

● The ability to travel to conferences and job sites as needed to meet with existing and potential clients is required.

● Previous experience and knowledge of the construction industry and/or an AEC background is preferred but not required.

Location:

Seeking candidates based in Central Ohio available to work at our Lancaster office 3-5 days a week. Depending on proximity, we can provide a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in-office presence.
