Teguar Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to join our dynamic team. Summary: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic sales plans for the entire organization (or assigned products) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing customers.
This position plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with clients, and overseeing all marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
This is a full-time, in-office position that will only require occasional travel (twice per quarter).
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead, manage and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify & pursue new market opportunities, potential clients, and growth areas.
- Monitor, analyze & drive sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with product offerings.
2. Collaborate with the CEO and President on Marketing Strategy
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop customer satisfaction programs to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Implement HubSpot systems and strategies to manage customer data and improve the sales process.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product development, finance, and operations teams to ensure sales and marketing efforts align with the company’s overall strategy.
- Coordinate with the organization to ensure a seamless customer experience from acquisition to post-sale support.
- Provides regular updates to senior management on sales and marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
5. Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales and marketing reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust tactics as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sales, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. OR a minimum of 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Working knowledge of market research, sales, and marketing strategies.
- Proficient in HubSpot (Sales & Marketing Modules).
- Experience with digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms, a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical SEO knowledge a plus
