Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support the continued growth of the Building Code & Life Safety Services team. Our Code team provides technical consulting to jurisdictional clients across New York State, as well as provides guidance to design professionals. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in our team's success, performing document control and interfacing with both our internal team and our clients.

Duties

  • Perform document control and data entry, including setup of digital plan reviews and management of working documents, records, and deliverables, including application and review intake, filing, and distribution
  • Coordination of review schedules during projects,
  • Coordination with clients on technical and project management related requests including agreements, insurance certifications and qualifications.
  • Work directly with contractors to schedule inspections,
  • Filing and distribution of inspections,
  • Setup of projects including project planners,
  • Support project and client manager(s) in the management and execution of specific projects,
  • Preparation of client specific marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Associate, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required,
  • Basic understanding of building construction and building codes,
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, specifically Word, Excel
  • Organized and motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Use a computer and keyboard
  • Prior experience with Bluebeam Revu, OpenGov and/or Municity

Salary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location
