Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support the continued growth of the Building Code & Life Safety Services team. Our Code team provides technical consulting to jurisdictional clients across New York State, as well as provides guidance to design professionals. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in our team's success, performing document control and interfacing with both our internal team and our clients.
Duties
- Perform document control and data entry, including setup of digital plan reviews and management of working documents, records, and deliverables, including application and review intake, filing, and distribution
- Coordination of review schedules during projects,
- Coordination with clients on technical and project management related requests including agreements, insurance certifications and qualifications.
- Work directly with contractors to schedule inspections,
- Filing and distribution of inspections,
- Setup of projects including project planners,
- Support project and client manager(s) in the management and execution of specific projects,
- Preparation of client specific marketing materials.
Requirements
- Associate, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required,
- Basic understanding of building construction and building codes,
- Excellent written and spoken communications skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, specifically Word, Excel
- Organized and motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Use a computer and keyboard
- Prior experience with Bluebeam Revu, OpenGov and/or Municity
Salary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location
