PensionBee helps its customers to consolidate old retirement savings accounts, enabling them to easily rollover existing 401(k) plans into a new Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Customers will receive visibility of their retirement savings and access to our customized retirement planning tools, enabling them to grow their savings and ultimately prepare for retirement confidently.

PensionBee will now extend its award-winning marketing and technology approach to the United States, seeking to rapidly grow its customer base from its operational headquarters in New York City.
Operations Manager (New York) Role
As an Operations Manager at PensionBee, you’ll play a critical role in building our culture and ensuring seamless delivery of PensionBee products and services. Success in this role will require an ability to capture complex requirements and help us translate them into operational processes that allow us to successfully serve thousands of customers. You will be working directly with the VP of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the business, including customer success and quality assurance, rollovers and account transfers, and regulatory compliance. As an Operations Manager, you will be expected to:
- Map existing transfer processes for employer retirement plan providers and develop optimized transfer pathways
- Collaborate with the product and development teams to provide feedback and insights that inform future development and enhancements
- Establish and implement operational best practices for the customer success team to streamline operations and enhance productivity
- Draft training materials (including SOPs, powerpoints, videos, etc.) to prepare customer success team members to be successful in their role
- Track team performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and initiating corrective actions as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business operations, program/project management, consulting, or related fields. Experience within a fintech/tech startup environment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with project management, including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Ability to quickly understand technical products and concepts, translating them into effective operational plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in cross-team collaboration.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, SalesForce) is a plus.
- A self-starter with the ability to execute complex projects with minimal guidance.
