Full Job Description
Responsible for the supporting the administration of daily functions of the Human Resource department including clerical tasks, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining records.
- Collect and distribute mail to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor supply cabinet and relay the need to purchase items.
- Assists with payroll functions as needed including but not limited to processing weekly payroll, preparing reports, answering employee questions, and check distribution.
- Monitors employee time and attendance records and ensures proper tracking and documentation is occurring.
- Assists Talent Acquisition Specialist to administer pre-employment tests, update candidate records, logs, and communications in applicant tracking system.
- Manages the onboarding process which includes new employee paperwork, orientation program preparation, training documentation tracking, launching 30-, 60-, and 90-day surveys, and ensuring new employees are enrolled in benefits before deadline.
- Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
- Assists with employee events and programs.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from database as needed; updates various HR spreadsheets with employee changes and processes paperwork.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents training compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Assists with annual open enrollment preparation and related follow up to ensure all changes and updates are processed accurately.
- Assist in clear and consistent internal communications of Seal & Design to employees.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times and develops trust with all levels of employees in the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of HR administrative experience; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency working in a computer supported environment with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
Pay is commensurate with experience.
