Director of Business Development 

5th World  is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Business Development will drive business growth by testing and penetrating new markets, building strategic partnerships, and selling our innovative products to high-net-worth individuals (HNWI), family offices, luxury real estate, and private investors. With strong experience in selling luxury and innovative products to high net worth clientele along with building strategic networks and partnerships for market expansion, this role requires someone capable of orchestrating roadshows, expanding our network of partners, testing new market segments and positioning 5th World as a market leader in the burgeoning luxury regenerative living space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Pipeline: Build and drive the sales cycle, including prospecting and generating leads, relationship building, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate high-value partnerships with key stakeholders in luxury living, private banking, and investment sectors. Collaborate with influencers, thought leaders, and top-tier luxury brands.
  • Market Penetration: Develop, test and implement strategies to enter and grow in new market segments, targeting luxury clients and key decision-makers.
  • Product Positioning & Showcasing: Lead initiatives to present and promote 5th World’s luxury regenerative living solutions to potential clients, investors, and market leaders, driving engagement and excitement.
  • Strategic Roadshows: Plan and execute global roadshows, organize high quality events, delivering compelling presentations and pitches to potential partners, investors, and luxury clientele.
  • Networking: Leverage your network to drive word-of-mouth marketing, creating buzz around 5th World’s offerings within the luxury industry and among high-net-worth individuals.

Other Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Insights: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities to inform business strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, marketing, and product teams to align on product strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market tactics.
  • Business Acumen: Create and manage revenue forecasts and business development strategies. 
  • Cross-Industry Innovation: Utilize your experience to bring fresh perspectives and approaches to business development.

What Success Looks Like

  • Revenue Growth: Achieving or surpassing sales targets, establishing 5th World as a key player in the luxury regenerative living space.
  • Partnerships Secured: Successfully creating high-impact, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, luxury brands, private investors, and influential industry leaders.
  • Brand Positioning and Community Building: Establishing 5th World as a respected name in the luxury and HNWI segments, with partners actively promoting and endorsing our products.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in sales and business development, focused on selling luxury and/or innovative products and services to high net worth individuals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the luxury market and new market trends. 
  • Sales & Networking Expertise: Demonstrated success in getting in the door, building relationships, closing deals with HNWI, and leading product showcases or roadshows.
  • Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to design and execute successful business development strategies in complex and high-stakes environments.
  • Action Oriented Problem Solving: Proven ability to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty to solve any problem that might come their way.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and present with authority and charisma.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Design or a related field.
