Responsibilities:
A/R tasks:
- Posting payments from the A/R log to the customer accounts in our system.
- Monitor credit card expiration dates and investigate and address credit card payment failures.
- Ensure timely credit card updates to prevent disruptions in payment processing.
- Assist in reconciling outstanding balances and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain customer payment terms.
- Responsible for account adjustments, including credit adjustments and balance corrections; maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Generate credit memos for approved adjustments. Coordinate with relevant teams to apply credits appropriately.
- Prepare and process manual invoices for customers.
- Apply charges to customer accounts based on services incurred.
A/P tasks:
- Process employee expense reports using the Expensify platform. Verify receipts, ensure compliance with company policies.
- COGs (Cost of Goods Sold) Charge Management; track and manage COGs charges.
- Assist in setting up new vendor accounts. Collect necessary documentation and ensure compliance with company policies. Conduct credit checks on potential vendors and customers. Evaluate creditworthiness and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Additional office admin as needed, such as answering phones, processing, and receiving mail and Amazon orders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience as a finance assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
