Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate customer account records, assist in reconciling outstanding balances, and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage customer balances using the A/R process. Communicate professionally to collect overdue balances.
- Investigate and communicate credit card payment failures with customers and manage through resolution.
- Process employee expense reports using the Expensify platform. Verify receipts, ensure compliance with company policies, and facilitate timely reimbursements.
- Process payment terms documentation for customer accounts; Monitor and maintain customer payment terms and record accuracy.
- Post payments from the A/R log to the customer account.
- Monitor and update credit card expiration dates to prevent payment processing disruptions.
- Monitor and apply International Charges.
- Calculate and apply account adjustments, including credit adjustments and balance corrections, ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare and process manual invoices for customers.
- Generate and apply credit memos for approved adjustments, coordinating with relevant teams.
- COGs (Cost of Goods Sold) Charge Management; track and manage COGs charges. Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in setting up new vendor accounts. Collect necessary documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct credit checks on potential vendors and customers. Evaluate creditworthiness and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Additional office admin as needed, such as answering phones, processing and receiving mail and Amazon orders.
Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related job experience OR 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar position.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills; experience collaborating with cross-functional teams a must.
- Strong attention to detail required with an ability to problem-solving a must.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel.
- Easily adaptable; entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this position.
