Company Seeking Experienced Sales Representative

This position's responsibilities include:
- making five hours a day of outbound calls to potential customers
- training on specific scripted techniques and putting them into practice
- developing new leads
- creating and maintaining your client base
- sourcing parts
- creating quotes and sales orders
- closing sales and achieving quotas
- managing open orders and returns
You’ll be expected to learn and utilize inside sales training and product training, while building relationships and growing your client base. We are specifically looking for an individual to join our team who has the potential to grow within our company by quickly demonstrating their self motivated work ethic! You'll meet weekly with your department in a group setting and 1:1 with your manager to develop personally and professionally. The growth and development of our organization depends on the growth and development of our people.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: On site at 955 Ken-O-Sha Industrial Dr. SE Grand Rapids, Michigan with travel in territory to meet with top customers once or twice a year.
Requirements
Applicants must pass both a drug screen and a background check.
Ideal candidate requirements:
- 2+ years of Sales Experience (prospecting, cold calling, problem solving, communication skills, active listening skills, time-management skills, organizational skills)
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Have a friendly and professional personality. You will be communicating (Phone, email, chats and video calls) with customers, vendors and peers all day long.
- Have above-average computer and data entry skills, with the ability to grasp concepts quickly.
- Have a logistical mind and follow continuous improvement methodologies. We are always looking for ways to improve our processes to become more efficient.
Traveling by plane is required occasionally as company-wide meetings will be attended in-person, four times a year.
