Join our friendly team at Northern Dental Group as a Payroll Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for our amazing staff, ensuring that everyone is compensated accurately and on time. You will also be a key point of contact for any payroll-related inquiries and will assist in maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Answer payroll-related questions from employees, addressing concerns with a smile
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee data and benefit deductions
- Assist with audits and reporting as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws
