Currently, HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team.
This position is responsible for conducting the in-house payroll process by compiling payroll data, reviewing computed wages and correcting errors to ensure accuracy. Assist with the collection of Payroll, Federal, State, and Benefit tax returns. Help prepare periodic reports of monthly labor, earnings, taxes, and deductions and reconciling payroll on a quarterly basis. Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries for labor costs and payroll costs.
In addition, this position is responsible for assistance with the monthly general ledger closing; process accounts payable invoices, review invoices for accuracy, assist with preparation of checks, and resolve discrepancies. Other special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Human Resources OR have three plus years of experience processing in-house payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong Microsoft Office skills is necessary. Experience with a variety of accounting software packages (i.e. UKG, etc.) is a plus.
