Marketing Coordinator

If you want a position that will challenge you to be your best, look no further! We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic culture at Rockford Construction. In this role, you will assist with strategies that support Rockford’s brand and vision within an energizing team atmosphere. In addition, this position will play a key role in composing and editing content, developing graphics along with managing marketing projects in support of Rockford's brand and business strategy.
Attention to detail, being flexible, and managing processes/projects will be essential to the success of this position. If you are looking for a fast-paced role providing a variety of responsibilities, then this is the position for you!
Requirements
- A warm, professional demeanor coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage positively with internal and external clients.
- The ability to assist with the implementation of marketing strategies and support Rockford's brand.
- The ability to write consistently using company’s tone and voice, as appropriate, for different media.
- Supports collateral development by writing, editing and designing various sales pieces.
- Assists with graphic design, layout and production of speciality items (site signage, proposal graphics, icons, presentations, and other brand-related pieces).
- Assists and coordinates client proposals and information packages.
- Assists in capturing project photography.
- Strong collaboration with Marketing team along with other corporate departments and services.
- Foster an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design).
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- Copywriting/editing experience.
- Layout and/or graphic design skills that facilitate appealing and effective communication preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) and MS Office.
- Experience with Premier Pro (or other video production software) a plus.
- The ability to work in a challenging, fast-pace, deadline driven environment while consistently producing results of exceptional quality.
- Detailed-orientation, self-motivated, and proactive, with proven ability to effectively take ownership, organize work tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Marketing or communications experience in the construction, architecture or engineering industry strongly preferred.

Environmental Factors
The work environment for this position is a typical office environment with frequent visits to construction sites. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement, such as accessing centrally located office equipment, lifting of 35 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing, may be necessary to perform the requirements of this position.
Visits to construction sites may involve varied amounts of travel and overnight stays. Site visits may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subject to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal protective equipment (PPE) including proper footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection (if applicable), high visibility vest and/or other special clothing shall be worn on construction sites at all times unless otherwise specified.
