Currently, we are seeking an Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconciling employees’ company credit card transactions on a monthly basis as well as assigning proper job costing and/or general ledger accounts to the individual charges.
- Preparing monthly job costing accrual entries.
- Assisting with collection of timesheet data for job costing, payroll and invoicing needs.
- Analyzing financial information detailing assets and liabilities for account reconciliation and month end close purposes.
- Preparing and posting general ledger entries as needed.
- Assisting with work paper preparation for taxes and year-end financial statement audit.
- Preparing monthly activity reports to support other departments across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 0-3 years of experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, taxes, general ledger, internal controls and job costing. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Preferred Experience with a variety of accounting software packages (i.e. Solomon, Crystal Reports, SQL database, etc.). Excellent written and oral communication skills.
