RMC is looking for an experienced Help Desk Specialist to support the Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity (NOSSA). The Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for supporting a classified DoD environment to include:
- Provide support as the NRWS Account Administrator by managing all new account requests and removal of unauthorized accounts. general permission modifications to resources (roles), account updates, etc.
- Perform general Help Desk Support to the organizations users to include onsite support of NMCI assets such as computers, printers, peripherals and end user software troubleshooting.
- Ensure the organizations NMCI assets are patched and remain out of network quarantine.
- Perform daily review of all tracker taskings to complete in progress tickets and begin resolving new tickets.
- Support the organization's live events/meetings by configuring VTC/AV equipment and other meeting setup procedures such as pre-meeting setup, testing equipment and general meeting preparedness tasks.
- Provide support for the organizations iPhone management using purebred for enrollment purposes in accordance with DoD and the organizations guidance.
- Provide support to the organizations VIP clients in regards to workstation troubleshooting
- Participate in scheduled team meetings and provide productive suggestions to the customer in regards to the organization's missions.
- Occassional travel required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting system administration for DoD or Federal Programs
- Must have a DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level 3 Certification (CASP, CISSP, CLSSP).
- Experience providing Tier I and Tier II end user desktop support services.
- Strong understanding of IT Management and associated cybersecurity principles to include cybersecurity policy and network security.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are a must.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to attain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
